What should I wear?
Please dress casually - jeans and flat heeled shoes. Although we usually land close to a road, you may be walking through fields. It is no colder in the balloon than on the ground, yet you may wish to bring a light jacket. Layered clothing is best

Where I will fly?
The Hot Air Balloon crew studies the prevailing winds at different elevations and selects a take-off site that will provide the best flight-path possible. The pilot ascends and descends to find air currents that are moving in the desired direction. Balloons can only travel with the wind, but our skilled pilots direct the balloon throughout the flight and it often appears as if the balloon was steered!

What does it feel like during the flight?
Once aloft you will not notice turbulence or wind as you become one with the air currents. The basket hangs motionless in the air-mass in which it is suspended. In the calm conditions in which we fly there is nothing that can make the basket sway and the sense of movement is much more subtle than an elevator ride. The feeling is one of peace as we drift over treetops and float over the countryside. Vertigo is almost never experienced and we are always happy to accommodate our passengers if they prefer low altitude flights. Some passengers describe the sensation they feel on our flights as "tranquil" and "romantic" while others describe the flight as "gentle and calm."

Do passengers sit or stand during the flight?
Passengers normally stand in the basket during flights; however the Hot Air Balloon Crew can accommodate those passengers who need to be seated.

When do we fly?
We fly early in the morning because this time of day provides calm, cool air for gentle and stable flights, soft landings and maximum lifting capacity of the balloon. It is also the ideal time for photography, with splendid colours and contrasts and the beauty of the sunrise.

What about weather conditions?
Before you fly, the Hot Air Balloon crew checks the weather. We can generally fly with wind speeds up to 10 miles per hour.

Do we fly if it's raining?
Light rain is not a problem when the wind conditions are stable, although we would not schedule a flight when rain was anticipated as it would add considerable weight to the fabric. Often rain can be associated with instability and unpredictable winds which is actually more disturbing to us as the volume of the balloon is so great. Cloudy conditions often give some of the best conditions for flying although the photographer might be disappointed.

Is it safe?
Balloon flight is as safe as traveling on an airliner operated by one of the world's major carriers. The technical systems are very simple and there is almost nothing that can go wrong. Many people who don't like the claustrophobia of an airplane feel very comfortable in the balloon basket.

Morning cross the Nile by Air-conditioned non-smoking coach or mini-bus to visit the west bank of Luxor accompanied by a qualified, Tour Guide Egyptologist to visit Temple of Set I, called The Domain of Amen in the West of Thebes, lies at the northern end of the Theban Necropolis, directly across the Nile from the Temple of Karnak. The location is lovely; there is a fine view of a large palm grove and the Theban Hills from atop the temple enclosure walls. The temple is very well preserved and was a favorite subject of nineteenth century watercolorists. Then drive Valley of the Nobles, the three neighboring districts of Assassif, Khokhah and Cheik-Abd-el-Gurnah laid the imposing necropolises of the nobility of the Middle Empire dynasties. As compared to the Pharaohs’ tombs, these tombs are extremely simple from the architectural point of view and all feature the same layout: they are preceded by an open-air terrace, followed by a vestibule whose painted walls describe the earthly functions of the owner. A corridor then leads to an alcove which very often contains the statue of the dead person, sometimes together with his wife of relations. The subjects illustrated in these tombs are characterized by an extraordinary freshness, vitality and realism and provide accurate, valuable evidence of what court life was like in ancient Egypt. The most frequent topics were funeral banquets, with music and dancing, farm work, craftsmanship and daily life in general. Then drive to Ramesseum Temple which was the name given during the nineteenth century to the funerary temple that Ramses II had built on the west bank of the Nile. His “Castle of a million years” was built by the architect Penre on such a vaste scale. Back to the Hotel and overnight

Day 5 Luxor (Madinat Habu Temple, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Artisans)
Today in the morning cross the Nile to the west bank of Luxor by Air-conditioned non-smoking coach or mini-bus accompanied by a qualified, Tour Guide Egyptologist to visit Madinat Habu Temple which The monumental complex of Medinet Habu included the Temple of Ramses III, in front of which stood the template of Thot-Mosis I and the Chapels of the deities that worshipped Amon.
Then drive to the Valley of the Queens which known today as Biban el Harim opens up at about one and a half kilometers south west of the Valley of Kings.
The ancient Egyptians gave in the evocative name of Set Neferu, meaning "seat of beauty:. From 1903 to 1906 the Italian archaeological expedition led by Ernesto.
Schiaparelli discovered about eighty tombs, many of which were seriously damaged; some of them featured traces of fire whereas others were reduced to stables.
They contained the mortal remains of queens and princes from the XIX to the XX Dynasty; therefore, they can be dated back from 1300 B.C. to 1100 A.D.
Then we drive to the Valley of the Artisans which is A few kilometers to the south of Cheik-Abd-el-Gurnah lies the valley known nowadays as Deir el-Medina, meaning “city convent” because once upon a time it was inhabited by the Copts of Thebaid. One can see the ruins of the village built at the time of Amon-Ofis I and inhabited by the workers who built and decorated the royal tombs of Thebes. Then drive back to your hotel and overnight
